In addition to massage therapy, I also offer yoga instruction. Among some of yoga's many benefits are stress reduction, improved flexibility, an improved sense of self, pain reduction, better quality of sleep, and peace of mind.
You can enjoy group classes (see schedule below), or if a one-on-one is more your style, just click the "Book Now" button on the left or call to schedule. I am also available for small private group sessions--your location or mine. Consider on-site instruction for job-related stress reduction, bridal showers, girls' night out, holiday gatherings, or whatever tickles your fancy!

Specialized Training:
Spectrum Yoga Therapy classes: Classes for individuals on the autistic spectrum are offered in 6-week series--next session to begin Fall 2010; please call for more information (class size is limited).
Adaptive Yoga: Redefines the fundamental nature of ability & disability by utilizing a mind-body approach in working with individuals with disability. A limited number of free sessions currently available...please call for details!

Alignment Yoga
Do you want to feel better in your own body? Would you like to learn how to support your posture and reduce your pain? How about stress reduction and "time-out" for yourself?
Alignment Yoga is based on the work of Scott Anderson and "...comes from the idea that our body functions best when we're in alignment with the forces that surround us. For example, understanding how gravity flows through our bones will help our posture far more than trying to fight it."
Join me on a journey to better health for mind, body, spirit, and heart! Each class begins with a brief guided meditation, followed up by core-strenghtening work, yoga asana (poses), and concludes with guided relaxation.
Yoga Plus
Do you want to feel better? Could your energy use a boost? Does rejuvenation of body, mind, and spirit intrigue you? Do you enjoy spending time outdoors with like-minded people? Would you like to take time for yourself?
Join me each week for a fun, unique, and inspired body-mind-spirit workout, designed to maximize your fitness and strength, while gaining a sense of tranquility and peace of mind!
Each week, we will explore different activities (including hiking, bike riding, walking) & integrate them with yoga postures that support a balanced body & healthy posture. To give you even more benefit, you will receive detailed handouts with tips, tricks, & strategies to incorporate into your everyday routine.
